I wanted to combine classical and power metal together for a while but not in the same way that bands like Epica or Nightwish combinde the elements. I didn't want to be graceful or elegant, I wanted to get raw and aggressive and sprinkle some Keeper of the Seven Keys/Iron Maiden in there...but I didn't want to be too aggressive, because I wanted there to be points of introspection, with some psychadelic guitars.

I like to think of this piece Igor Stravinsky + Helloween + Iron Maiden + Nightwish + Paganini + Pink Floyd.....I'm a complicated woman.
